So you may ask me, "Do you speak any dialects that are spoken in East Asia?"
And I would have to reply,
"No."

But!! I am Korean, a non-native that is touring the region and because of their hospitality offered, we can befriend them and as a friend share what I feel is the most important thing any friend can share to another.

God's Heart for the Lost

Looking at the parables, we can see God's heart for the lost.

Why Missions?

This is like asking, why spread the gospel?

Mark 13:10 says that "And the gospel must first be preached to all nations. " Before the end of ages, before the second coming of Christ, before the here and now that we see, the suffering and the discontent, sadness and violence will end.

Bible talks about a definite end to the world as we know it and the beginning of an eternal bliss, the beginning of heaven.

What is heaven? It is hard to give a definite answer, but the answer I give myself is "any place where God is". Heaven started for me from the day I met Christ, for since then, he's been here with me. But life here is filled with trial after trial, temptation after temptation where we forget heaven and yearn to find it again. And so we wait for the eternal heaven, a new world where there is no suffering, discontent, sadness, violence...

Ask yourself and anyone else in the earth, ask them if they are truly happy.

Missions is spreading the gospel by means of going out into the community and serving the people, and thus sharing God's love.

And whether this community is your own neighborhood or a country 3000 miles away, depends on God's calling.

My meaning of Matt.9:37 // 마9:37의대한 은애의 해석

Matthew 9:37 is very special to me as it is my personal calling to the mission field.

In the verse, what do you think Jesus means by harvest?
To me, it refers to the numerous souls that need to come back to Christ.

Unto this harvest, I believe that God has called me to be a worker, to be used as His hands and feet to the nations, as He calls His people back into his arms.

마태복음9:37은 저한테는 아주 특별한 말씀 이죠.

본문의 추수할 것은 무엇일까요?
저는 우리 주님께 돌아와야되는 수많은 영혼들이라고 생각합니다.

추수할 일군인 저는 주님의 손과 발이되어 이 많은 영혼들이 있어야될 곳, 바로 하나님의 품으로 불러야된다는 사명감을 가지고 있다고 믿습니다.

The beginning of my heart for the world// 전 세계를 향한 마음의 시작

February 19, 2001, God touched me in a radical way and I first truly experienced his power personally. That day, I asked Him,

"Why must I continue to live?"

And God gave me Matthew 9:37
"Then He [Jesus] said to his disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few."

I understood from then on, that my purpose in life is to be a worker for Christ.
